European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution Platform: Online Dispute Resolution Platform
We are neither willing nor obligated to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
Our website contains links to various social media platforms. You can usually recognize these links by the corresponding icons or buttons (Facebook and Instagram).
When you click on such a link, you leave our website and are redirected directly to the respective platform. Data processing by the respective provider takes place only there. We have no influence over the nature and scope of data processing by third-party providers.
The links serve solely to redirect you to our social media profiles or to make it easier to share content. Data is therefore only transferred if you actively click on the link.
The legal basis for providing these links is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, which you voluntarily grant by clicking on the respective icon.
We maintain publicly accessible profiles on social networks (e.g., Facebook, Instagram). The respective providers may analyze your usage behavior when you visit our profiles—regardless of whether you are logged in or not.
In the process, data such as your IP address or cookies may be collected and, where applicable, linked to your user account. The platform operators use this information to create user profiles and to display personalized advertising.
Please also note that we cannot track all data processing activities on social media platforms. Depending on the provider, additional processing operations may therefore be carried out by the operators of the social media platforms. For details, please refer to the terms of use and privacy policies of the respective social media platforms.
Our social media presence is intended to ensure the most comprehensive online presence possible. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The analytics processes initiated by the social networks may be based on different legal grounds, which must be specified by the operators of the social networks (e.g., consent within the meaning of Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).
When you visit one of our social media pages (e.g., Facebook), we are jointly responsible with the operator of the social media platform for the data processing operations triggered by that visit. You may generally exercise your rights (right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint) both against us and against the operator of the respective social media platform.
Please note that, despite our joint responsibility with the social media platform operators, we do not have full control over the data processing activities of the social media platforms. Our options depend largely on the corporate policies of the respective provider.
The data collected directly by us through our social media presence is deleted from our systems as soon as the purpose for its storage no longer applies, you request that we delete it, you revoke your consent to its storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your device until you delete them. Mandatory legal provisions—in particular retention periods—remain unaffected.
We have no influence over the retention period of your data that is stored by the operators of social networks for their own purposes. For details on this, please contact the operators of the social networks directly (e.g., in their privacy policies; see below).

Use of Our Facebook Page and Processing of Insights Data
Please note that you use our Facebook page and its features at your own risk. This applies in particular to interactive features such as commenting on, sharing, or rating posts.
When you visit our page, Facebook collects, among other things, your IP address and information stored on your device via cookies. Facebook uses this data to provide us, as the page operator, with so-called Facebook Insights—that is, statistical, anonymized analyses of user behavior on our page. This provides us, for example, with information about which posts were viewed or clicked on particularly frequently.
When processing so-called Insights data in connection with the operation of our Facebook page, we act jointly with Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. as data controllers in accordance with Article 26 of the GDPR. The basis for this is Meta’s so-called Page Controller Addendum.
Under this agreement, Facebook assumes primary responsibility for processing the Insights data. This applies in particular to the following tasks:
Our obligations as the page operator include, in particular:
This agreement is governed by Irish law and falls under the jurisdiction of the Irish Data Protection Authority.
For more information on Facebook’s processing of Insights data, please visit Meta directly at:
https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/information_about_page_insights_data
As the page operator, we collect the anonymized Insights data described above for the purpose of statistical analysis based on our business and communication interests. By using this data, we are able to assess how our posts are received by users of our page and which topics are of particular interest. This allows us to continuously improve the content we provide. We therefore base our data processing on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (processing based on legitimate interests). If you have any questions about the information we provide, you can reach us at the following contact information: info@bigge-listersee.de
When you visit our Facebook page, the IP address assigned to your device is transmitted to Facebook. According to Facebook, this IP address (for German IP addresses) is anonymized and deleted after 90 days.
In addition, Facebook stores information about the device you are using, for example, as part of the “Login Notification” feature. This allows Facebook to potentially associate IP addresses with individual user accounts.
If you are logged into Facebook, a cookie containing your user ID is stored on your device. This allows Facebook to track that you have visited our page and how you used it—even across different Facebook pages. Similarly, Facebook can track your activities via embedded buttons (e.g., “Like”) on external websites and associate them with your profile. Facebook uses this data, among other things, to display personalized content and advertisements.
Here’s how you can limit data transmission:
This will remove your Facebook ID, and you’ll be able to use our site anonymously. However, if you use interactive features such as “Like,” “Comment,” or “Share,” a login screen will appear—once you log in, you’ll be recognizable as a user again.

When you visit our Instagram page, the IP address assigned to your device is transmitted to Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.). According to Instagram, this IP address—for IP addresses from Germany—is anonymized and deleted after 90 days.
In addition, Instagram stores information about your device, e.g., as part of the “login notification” feature. This may allow Instagram to associate the IP address with your user account under certain circumstances.
If you are logged into Instagram while visiting our site, a cookie containing your user ID is stored on your device. This enables Instagram to associate your visit and interactions on our site with your Instagram profile. Based on this data, Instagram can create personalized profiles and tailor content or advertising to your interests—both within Instagram and on other platforms.
If you do not want Instagram to link your activities directly to your profile, you can take the following steps:
This will remove your Instagram ID, and it will no longer be possible to identify you personally. You can then continue to visit our site without Instagram being able to uniquely identify you.
