The Biggesee-Listersee Nature Experience Area stretches through the Hanseatic City of Attendorn, the town of Drolshagen, the town of Meinerzhagen, the county seat of Olpe, and the municipality of Wenden in the southern Sauerland. 

Traveling by train:
RB 25 Oberbergische Bahn
Cologne – Overath – Gummersbach – Meinerzhagen
RE91 Ruhr-Sieg-Bahn & IC2320/RE34
Hagen (RE91) or Dortmund (IC2320) – Plettenberg – Finnentrop – Altenhundem – Siegen (transfer in Finnentrop to the RB92)
RB92 Biggesee-Express
Finnentrop – Attendorn – Olpe

A45 (Sauerland Line): Olpe-Süd, Olpe, Drolshagen, and Meinerzhagen interchanges
